The Holosun ARO (Advanced Rifle Optic) EVO is an enclosed reflex sight featuring the Holosun SPR reticle. It enables rapid target acquisition even in adverse weather conditions thanks to its housing meeting the IPX8 waterproof rating. The sight comes with Low and Lower 1/3 Co-Witness mounts, allowing the device to be adapted for use on both rifles and shotguns.

The sight features an advanced lens system with multi-layer coatings that reduce glare. This provides high light transmission while maintaining a clear, parallax-free image. Reticle brightness can be adjusted across 12 levels, including 8 daylight settings and 4 night vision compatible settings.

The reticle can be adjusted for windage and elevation within a +/- 50 MOA range, with 1/2 MOA adjustment per click. The electronic LED control system uses dual power sources consisting of a CR2032 battery and a Solar Failsafe solar panel. The Shake Awake system puts the device into sleep mode after a specified period of inactivity, helping to further extend battery life.

The sight housing is machined from a single piece of 6061-T6 aluminum and is capable of withstanding shocks of up to 1000 G. Brightness is adjusted using buttons located on the side of the housing. The battery can be replaced by removing the battery tray without taking the sight off the rail, allowing the previously established zero to be maintained.
