The Holosun P.ID Dual series handgun light features an integrated laser aiming device. This model uses an LED producing up to 800 lumens and 17,000 candela, as well as a laser aiming device that projects green and infrared beams. The light is powered by a flat-top 18350 lithium-ion rechargeable battery.

The battery can be charged using the included magnetic USB cable without removing it from the device. The charging port is located on the side, so the light does not need to be removed for charging. If necessary, the battery compartment can be accessed from the bottom by unscrewing a separate cover. An LED located below the magnetic charging port indicates the charging status.

The 18350 rechargeable battery provides up to 60 minutes of runtime in low mode at 400 lm and 8,500 cd. The light is operated using an ambidextrous Paddle Switch located at the rear of the housing. Pressing and holding the button provides momentary illumination until it is released, while toggling it activates constant-on mode. A separate ambidextrous set of buttons is provided for operating the laser aiming device.

The flashlight housing is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished with anodizing. This provides increased resistance to mechanical damage, while a series of seals allows the light to meet the IP68 protection standard. The light mounts to a Picatinny rail using a spring-loaded clamp. Interchangeable adapters allow the light to be better fitted to a specific firearm model. The laser beam can be adjusted within a 60 MOA range, with 4 MOA per click.
