The Holosun P.ID K series handgun light is designed primarily for use on pistols. This model features an LED producing up to 500 lumens and 6,500 candela, while offering a significantly shorter design than the standard P.ID, allowing the light to sit more closely aligned with the muzzle. The light is powered by a flat-top 16340 lithium-ion rechargeable battery.

The included 16340 rechargeable battery can be charged through the USB-C port located next to the top positive (+) terminal. Alternatively, the device can be powered by two CR123A batteries, which can provide up to 1.5 hours of runtime. If necessary, the battery compartment can be accessed by unscrewing the light head. The P.ID K features adjustable positioning, allowing the light to be moved closer to or farther away from the trigger guard.

The 16340 rechargeable battery provides up to 60 minutes of runtime in high mode at 500 lm and 6,500 cd. The light is operated using an ambidextrous extended Paddle Switch located at the rear of the housing. Pressing and holding the switch provides momentary illumination until the button is released, while toggling it activates constant-on mode. The symmetrical switch design provides convenient operation for both right- and left-handed users.

The flashlight housing is made of 7075 aluminum and finished with anodizing. This provides increased resistance to mechanical damage, while a series of seals allows the light to meet the IPX8 waterproof standard. The light mounts to a Picatinny rail using a spring-loaded clamp. Interchangeable adapters allow the light to be fitted to various pistol brands and models. The light is compatible with holsters designed for Streamlight TLR7 lights.
