The Holosun IRIS laser aiming device with a 25,000 cd LED flashlight comes in a compact module. It mounts to a Picatinny rail using screw-tightened clamping jaws. The IRIS module features four different light sources with two output levels. The user has access to white light and an IR illuminator, as well as green and infrared IR lasers.

Two Crane ports located at the rear allow separate control panels to be connected, providing greater flexibility to suit the user's needs. Despite its extensive equipment, the device weighs less than 250 grams. The flashlight delivers a maximum output of up to 1000 lumens and a peak intensity of up to 25,000 candela.

The device is powered by two CR123A batteries, with a red LED indicating a low battery level. Alternatively, an 18650 rechargeable battery can be used. The housing is made of aluminum, with components exposed to moisture sealed to meet the IPX8 protection standard. For precise aiming, the user can adjust the beam for both windage and elevation.

The 520 nm green laser is highly versatile and provides excellent contrast against most backgrounds. The 850 nm IR laser and IR illuminator enable operation in low-light conditions when used with night vision equipment. Various night vision devices can gain additional functionality when paired with the integrated IR illumination module.

The slightly raised button located in the center of the housing provides ergonomic operation. Its positioning ensures comfortable use for both right- and left-handed users. The laser aiming device also includes a wired remote pressure switch, allowing the activation button to be positioned in the most convenient location for the user.

The IRIS 4 provides comprehensive functionality in a wide range of conditions thanks to its extensive equipment. The user has access to multiple illumination sources and laser aiming devices for operation in both normal and low-light conditions. In addition, the control rail features an override button for devices emitting infrared light or beams, switching them to the visible spectrum.
